In this series, Hanna Magged paints on paper using a combination of oil pastels and acrylics, a dialogue that allows her to create both rich textures and subtle transparencies. The acrylic layers convey fluidity and depth, while the pastel lines introduce sharp graphic accents and definition. Together, they generate a dynamic interplay between softness and structure, between flowing light and grounded form. The result is a visual space that feels both intuitive and charged, where the very materiality of the medium becomes an integral part of the emotional and meditative experience the works invite.
